ISM -> Informatics -> WWW
On the informatics lecture we have a chance to learn how to create a website! :) WOW that’s so awesome! Here’s the things we need to do. COPY-PASTE from lecturer notes (p.s. translated with autotranslatter :) ):
Website Creating
The goal - learn to create own brand (name and the activities of manufacture, but the site
similar to the actual) Internet web site and place it in appropriate place, so that it would be available to all
over the Internet, with all the existing active links. And it must include the following elements:
i. At least three pictures.
ii. At least five HTML files.
iii. Files must comply with the requirements of HTML files, ie
(
iv. Must be correctly displayed Lithuanian letters.
v. At least one-page background should be picture.
vi. At least three pictures & will be deployed as links to other pages.
vii. All pictures & length should be a separate folder, rather than in conjunction with the page’s HTML files.
viii. Must be at least one different type of text link:
a) http link to your pages of information;
b) http links to external web pages;
c) post a link ( “mailto”);
d) ftp link.
ix. At least one of a numbered list.
x. At least one Blister list (the list).
xi. At least one simple table & the text information.
xii. At least one table, located inside the other.
xiii. At least three colors text (links not included).
XIV. At least three different fonts (eg Arial, Courier, Times New Roman)
xv. Used bold, italic, underlined text.
xvi. Spend at least three styles of text (h1, h2, h3, etc.)..
Note. Website development can not be used for a specific programs, all
the work is done with Notepad or another plain text editor for writing HTML commands.
UltraEdit is recommended to use a text editor.
Well, this is kind a crap, cuz he wanted us to create a website with the old technologies which we do not use anymore. We use DIV’s instead of tables, aren’t we? Well sometimes we do use TABLE, but only when we need table, not website…
